Apologies for the lack of updates of late. Have been traveling quite a bit, and I will be flying off again next week (and coming back with more yummy food photos to show! Hint: Gourmet Tour π )
Anyway, my family and I recently discovered this lady who makes chicken pies for sale from her home in Green Lane. We were so delighted with it that we’ve had them for an open house party, and I even bought some for my colleagues. So far, everyone who has tried these chicken pies just absolutely love them! After a few bites, they’ll be asking me for the lady’s phone number! π
I particularly like the chicken pie filling. It’s nice and moist with chunks of chicken meat, potatoes and carrots. Hints of pepper detected but not overpowering. Unfortunately, this was the only shot I got of the pie filling (which ended up blur). My dad was too impatient to wait for me to get another shot. He wanted his yummy chicken pie back! lol!
These home made chicken pies are sold for RM2.70 each. She also sells slightly smaller ones for RM2. These pies are made fresh, as she only makes them when there’s an order. Good for office parties, open houses or if you just wanna eat a really good chicken pie la! π Minimum order is 36 pieces. But if there are other people ordering on that day, you can slot in your order as well.
Updated April 2011:
I realized that there are quite a lot of people looking for this lady’s contact number and as I’m quite Β busy these days and may not be able to respond to your emails promptly, here’s the number for this Home Made chicken pie – JennyΒ 012-4706831. Her location is in Green Lane. I haven’t ordered from her lately, so I’m not sure of her current pricing and also if she is still selling these chicken pies. Please note that she is doing is from home and may not always be available (as I’ve had previous experiences where she couldn’t take my order). So do give her a call for more info ya. And if anyone would like to update us on her new pricing, please feel free to do so! Thank you! π
That’s probably the best testament of how good the chicken pie is — the fact you couldn’t get a decent shot of it cos everyone wanted a bite! π

Hi WJ – apologies for the delay. Have updated her number at the end of the post itself π enjoy! (hope she is still selling!)
Lingzie,
Thank you very much for the H/P No Updates. Just yesterday, I heard from my friend that there is an uncle being the middle man taking order for a home-made chicken pie Aunty. The Uncle does not disclose the Aunty’s H/P because he told my friend’s friend that he tops up the chicken pie’s price. He is selling a smaller sized chicken price at RM3 and larger one RM4. I think he must be selling Jenny’s chicken pie. I have yet to try but definily going to call this Jenny soon. Thanks again.
