Meaty pork ribs
Salad Har Kau. Again lots of prawns!
“Wu Kok” These pork filled yam morsels are really addictive! I like the fact that the yam is not drenched in oil that’s been used over and over again.
“Hor Yip Fan” Lotus leaf rice. Sinfully oily but oh so good!
I have no idea what this is called. But it’s pretty good! Similar to “wu kok” but with different filling.

J2Kfm – yeah. the name’s rather boring! in fact at first i couldnt believe that that was the name of the place! anson road’s should taste the same since they both have the same owner. but i don’t really fancy anson road’s venue cos its dark, hot and stuffy!

This visuals points to a winning restaurant. Usually I don’t get this good presentation in Penang. You are spot on. I cannot do without siew mai, har kau and char siew pau and these provide the acid test on food quality.

ohh I only tried the steamboat at night but not the morning dim sum!! Must put a mental note to try this soon!! 😀

ya, their dim sum is delicious with reasonable price. I like to eat there, coz it environment is bright and consider clean and cozy if compare to others dim sum shops.
Their ha kao, ha qun, ha kok, lotus leaf rice, steam ribs meat, siu mai, pao…all taste nice!
I love the dim sum at this restaurant, they are pretty good. I look my late father there in November, and he enjoyed it. That was prolly the last place I took him dim sum before he passed away in January. Your post reminded me of my dim sum breakfast with him…
