Beside Fish Head Bihun, various types of noodles are also available such as Pan Mee and Pork Ball Noodles (which is also foreign to Penang). I still find it very odd that the hawker stalls in KL would put up sign boards of “Penang Pork Ball Noodles” when I’ve never even seen or heard of this at all in Penang!
But I digress… We ordered the Pork Ball Noodles with dry bihun and added fish paste (home made fish balls) along with beancurd sheets (my absolute fav!!) The dry bihun was fair but the winner here was definitely the fish paste! Very fresh and bouncy to the taste! I would definitely add this into my fish head bihun next time 🙂
Now as this shop is rather unassuming…. I couldn’t get an address (there was no address stated on the Cash Bill). But what I did note was that this row of shop houses is in SK6 (Seri Kembangan 6) and is located opposite this shop…
It is by the main road in Seri Kembangan and there is a Petronas petrol station just further down, which leads me to believe that (did a quick snoop around this Google Map) the Fish Head Bihun shop is located on Jalan Besar, Seri Kembangan. Now, I may be wrong, since I am rather lost in Seri Kembangan/Serdang…. BUT (don’t give up on me yet) i do have the phone number of the stall operators, so you can call for directions if you are very adamant at getting that bowl of fish head bihun (i tell ya it’s VERY worth it!!) Any readers from Serdang care to confirm if I’m right about the location?
Seri Kembangan Fish Head Bihun available in the mornings from about 8am until 2pm. Closed alternate Mondays.
TEL: 012-297 7597 / 012-394 6019
Missing the fish head bihun already………
and oh..i couldnt help but include this….. cute cute kitty spotted at the stall (who willingly posed for me)….waiting for fish scraps? heehee
OMG I MUST HAVE THIS! My Klang Valley fish head noodle trail has died a very unnatural death and this post completely reinvigorated it! Terrible around the area so any signs (and phone numbers!) are helpful… wish me luck in finding it! 😛

You know it’s gotta be good when they have not one, but TWO signboards! (Of course, do we mean good biz or good food or both?) 😉

I heard about this place too the other day. But I went there at night but the shop was closed. So we tried the Bak Kut Teh instead. BKT here is not recommended. lol
oh! thanks for the info! guess i shall stick to the fish head bihun! 🙂
I like the fish head bihun with evaporated milk too! I once tasted a good one at Seremban there and I try to find the similar one in PG, but seems like it’s not a trend here in PG. Now I can go to KL for flash back the old taste. 🙂

there is another place in seri kembangan that served, “Yue Wat Sin Nai”, Fish paste with evaporated milk noodle, similar to fish head noodle, just that they use fish paste. their tom yam is good too. it was in housing area, near the fatty chicken rice.
BTW, i’m going to penang, what is the list of food that must have?
list + address (better still if you have the GPS coordinate)
