Yet another variety of pan mee that caught our attention is the Crispy Pork Pan Mee (RM3.50 small portion) Again, this version omits the ikan bilis from the dish.
The Crispy pork is similar to char siew that has been fried and comes served with a sweet sauce. Dad seems to like this version the best, while I prefer the Mince Pork Pan Mee with Special Sauce.
I’ve also tried the Original Dried Pan Mee (RM2.80, small portion) and I must say it does make for a satisfying bowl of pan mee!
I Mum Mum Pan Mee also offers some snacks to go along with your pan mee – fish dumplings, pork balls etc. We chose the fried sui kow (RM0.70 each) which were pretty good since we got ours hot off the fryer.
I Mum Mum’s simple menu.
Some photos of I Mum Mum’s location… It’s located along on main road on the way from the Jetty to the Jelutong Expressway (on your left)
