Next we were seduced by one of KPO’s signature dish – their Pork Ribs ($23). I kept hurrying LIC to finish photographing this dish because it smelled sooooo insanely good!!! One bite and we all agreed that the slab of pork ribs was very well marinated in their sworn to secrecy sauce. It had a tinge of spiciness to it and was definitely very tasty. However, we would have liked the meat to have more melt in your mouth quality. No complaints on the home made chips which was served once again with this dish!
Last but not least was hands down our favourite of the nite – Pizza Yorkshire ($25). It was a 10-inch really crispy thin crust pizza topped with Yorkshire Pork, mustard, basil, garlic and mozarella cheese.
It was honestly a pizza unlike any I’ve ever tasted. The flavours were mellow and yet exciting at the same time. The pork had a smokey cured taste which blended surprisingly well with the mustard and basil. OK, I need to stop looking at that pizza now less I become overwhelmed by unsatiable cravings for it! ~down girl down~ 😛
